Straight Talk LG Logic L35g GSM Android 2.3

The Straight Talk LG L35g also known as the LG Logic is yet another GSM android, this one in the form of an entry level compact device. What's interesting about this phone is the very squareness of it. Also, while it looks like it would be a large device in the pictures, it's actually quite compact. Feature wise, it's got what we come to expect from Android.

The LG L35g is a rather interesting phone. First, is the very square shape which is a rather new design from LG. The second, is the fact that this one only has 2 Android buttons (Home and back) then a mystery center button that sort of looks like a spacebar. Next, is the fact that when viewing a picture of this phone, it looks very much like a large form factor android. Perhaps something like a Galaxy S2 or something. In fact, this phone is quite compact. We will go out on a limb and say it's actually the smallest android Straight Talk offers.

As we touched on before, the design is somewhat unusual as they have done away with the usual search and menu buttons found on Androids. Not really a big deal. We never did have much use for the search and the on screen virtual menu button makes the physical one pretty redundant. The two buttons are of the capacitive touch design in case you are wondering. Everything else on the phone is pretty standard.

Feature wide, we have all the standard Android features such as Google Play app market, WiFi, GPS, etc. This is an excellent entry level Android that's highly functional despite the 800mhz processor. Perhaps the neatest thing about it is the very square shape which is kind of unusual. Other than that, there is no much to the phone other than to say it is a fun little device to carry around.

Calling Area

The LG L35g uses the GSM calling area so you will get either TMobile or AT&T. We find it interesting that STraight talk is putting out more Android GSMs than they were previously.

Wrapping it Up

Conclusion, the LG L35g is an intersting little phone. If you like interesting and unusual, you may like the LG L35g. It does pretty much the same as the other Straight Talk Androids in its class but distinguishes itself from the others with a couple different little design quirks.
